Floralyn received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1970 and a Master of Arts in counseling in 1978. She has worked in many settings as a retreat and workshop leader, counselor and nurse. Floralyn led her first woman's retreat in the upper peninsula of Michigan on Lake Superior and, more recently, she has led numerous retreats in the beautiful Ozark National Scenic Riverways. Much of her experience has been working in the areas of sexual abuse & personal empowerment. Floralyn may also be called upon as a Life Coach Consultant for individuals and couples.

Floralyn considers herself a creative spirit who is also a writer, poet, artist, healer and lover of the earth and the many blessings it brings to us. She truly enjoys tailoring special get-away retreats for individuals, couples or small groups.

Dave is a musician who plays the guitar and is especially fond of old rock-n-roll music. He loves people and loves to swap humorous stories about life experiences. Since moving from Iowa to the Ozarks, Dave has been learning all he can about the Ozarks and its history. He never gets tired of visiting our local scenic delights, of which there are many, and makes a great guide.

Dave recently retired from the automobile business and is now enjoying semi-retirement as a farmer. He loves the shift that has occurred in his life now that he is immersed in the serenity of nature.
